ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Communications Director/Editor:
- Performs as an ecclesial minister in support of the Diocese’s mission to whom the Bishop entrusts the responsibilities of public relations, interactions with news media, developing public and internal communications, and publishing the Diocesan newspaper with the goal of unifying, informing, inspiring and educating Idaho Catholics. This position assists the Chancery in crafting official statements for both Church and secular media and will occasionally work with the secular press.
