As part of this growth, we seek a strategic and visionary Director/Senior Director of Public Relations (Public Affairs) to elevate our global corporate profile, refine our brand, and amplify our scientific and corporate narrative. Position Summary The Director/Senior Director of Public Relations will lead all aspects of corporate communications, media relations, and brand strategy to position the Company as a trusted leader in the global biotech landscape. This role highly prefers a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in biotech/pharma PR, exceptional English fluency, and a proven ability to craft compelling narratives, manage high-stakes media engagements, and build a cohesive brand identity across diverse regions. Key Responsibilities 1. Corporate Image & Brand Storytelling & Messaging: Develop and refine the company’s master narrative, including corporate decks, mission/vision statements, and key messaging for global stakeholders (investors, patients, regulators). Brand Identity: Oversee visual and verbal branding, including logo, website, LinkedIn/Twitter (X)/WeChat assets, and teleconference backgrounds. Ensure consistency across all channels. Reputation Management: Proactively shape the company’s reputation as a leader in innovation, patient-centricity, and scientific excellence. 2. Press Releases, Media Relations & Social Media PR Strategy: Design and execute a global PR calendar, including scenario planning for clinical trial milestones (e.g., data readouts, regulatory submissions and approvals). Streamline cross-functional review processes for press releases. Media Engagement: Secure high-impact coverage in top-tier biotech, medical, and business outlets (e.g., Endpoints News, BioCentury, Fierce Biotech, etc.). Train executives and staff for media interviews. Social Media: Drive frequent, engaging updates on LinkedIn, WeChat, and Twitter to highlight corporate milestones, patient stories, and KOL collaborations. 3. Communication Platforms & Crisis Management Channel Management: Maintain the company’s website and social media as centralized hubs for accurate information. Monitor and respond to comments/misinformation. Media Partnerships: Build relationships with global journalists, influencers, and industry analysts. Position the Company as the go-to source for timely updates. Crisis Preparedness: Develop protocols to address potential reputational risks (e.g., clinical trial setbacks, geopolitical sensitivities). Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Experience: 7+ years in PR/public affairs preferred, with 4+ years in biotech/pharma required, and a track record of managing global campaigns. Skills: Expertise in media relations, crisis communications, and digital/social media strategy. Familiarity with FDA/CDE/EMA regulatory environments and clinical trial communications. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Research, Medical, Legal, BD). Mindset: Entrepreneurial, agile, and culturally adept in bridging Western and Eastern business practices.
