Job Description Do you love bringing order to creative chaos? We’re looking for a Director of Creative Operations and Connections to join our in-house creative team at Bose. In this role, you’ll be the spine of our creative apparatus, helping us transform our ideas into impactful execution by managing resources, budgets, and processes that drive our work forward, help the team be more efficient, and understand ways to grow and improve over time.
You’ll work across the marketing department and partner with key stakeholders to ensure we have the necessary information to stay on task, while fostering a culture of creative excellence. You thrive on solving complex problems, orchestrating multiple projects at once, and empowering teams to do their best work.
Key Responsibilities This role has two key parts for success. One is managing the operational excellence of the creative team to ensure the information and details are in place for the team to do their best work. This entails helping to select the right people for the right projects at the right time, and ensuring we meet deliverables and deadlines with excellence. The other part is creating connections across teams to establish processes that facilitate the right flow of information from the start of a brief to final deliverables.
Operations Be the Team’s Conductor: Lead the day-to-day operations of the creative team, ensuring all projects, people, and processes are in sync.
Resource Wizardry: Develop and implement resourcing plans to ensure the right talent is used appropriately, aligning with our creative and business goals.
Budget Champion: Manage the creative team’s budget, including expenses and tracking, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Vendor Connector: Oversee vendor relationships and external partners, negotiating contracts and managing scopes of work to deliver value.
Champion of Creative Culture: Advocate for a culture balancing creative freedom and operational discipline, fostering inspiration and growth.
Mentor & Coach: Develop a high-performing team of program managers and creative producers, guiding their growth.
Global Coordinator: Coordinate with global teams across regions and brands for seamless collaboration.
Connections Strategic: Establish and optimize planning, workflow, and project execution processes to ensure timely, on-brand, scope-appropriate deliverables.
Collaborative Powerhouse: Partner with marketing, product, finance, and others to align efforts and initiatives.
Flexible Operator & Agent of Change: Lead continuous process improvements and change initiatives to keep the team agile.
Tech & Tools Savvy: Ensure the team has the right tools and systems for effective workflow and collaboration.
Stakeholder Whisperer: Manage expectations and communication with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
Qualifications Operational clarity with efficient, accountable processes that allow creativity to flourish.
Ability to balance creative ambitions with business goals.
Experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and problem-solving.
Expertise in managing complex creative projects, budgets, timelines, and resources.
Strong communication skills, able to articulate complex ideas persuasively.
Data-driven decision-making skills to optimize resources and improve workflows.
Knowledge of the latest project management and digital asset management tools.
Experience working with global teams to ensure effective collaboration.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs and priorities.
This is a hybrid role, working in office Tues, Wed, and Thurs each week. It can be based in our Corporate Center in Framingham, MA, or our NYC office (Flatiron district), opening early Fall 2025. No relocation assistance is offered at this time.
