1 The NOW Massage and Bowie Barker are two lifestyle brands under the Post Investment Group family, which focuses on four sectors: health and wellness, real estate, consumer products, and pet services. This role will contribute to the growth of both brands under the Post Investment Group umbrella. The NOW was designed as an oasis to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect within. The NOW’s goal is to offer high-quality, customizable massage services without the time commitment and cost of a traditional spa. The NOW’s interiors have been recognized by press and influencers for its elevated aesthetic, inspired by exotic destinations from around the world. With 75+ boutiques currently open from coast to coast and steady expansion on the horizon, The NOW is looking forward to bringing its thoughtfully crafted menu, healing products, and signature design to cities all over the United States. Bowie Barker Bath + Groomerie offers personalized services for every pup. Born out of the necessity for high-quality care that dog owners can trust, Bowie Barker’s customizable offerings range from full-service grooming to self-serve wash stations for every size dog. Bowie Barker updates the traditional grooming experience with a convenient booking app, health checks, sustainable products, and more for its members and guests. Following its franchise launch in 2023, Bowie Barker currently has four locations open with additional shops in development nationwide. Position Summary: The Director of Franchise Planning and Communication is a key leadership role responsible for building strategic alignment, communication clarity, and operational consistency across the franchise network. This role leads the cross-functional planning and execution of major initiatives, ensuring that Franchise Owners are supported with the right planning and communication to deliver exceptional guest experiences. As a central liaison between headquarters and the franchise network, the role is responsible for developing and implementing scalable processes and systems that help drive alignment, build franchisee trust, and support flawless execution across all locations.
Job Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy
Serve as a senior operational leader, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence across teams and brands. Lead the development and execution of a structured, forward-looking 90+ day strategic planning process to align headquarters functions and drive timely, cohesive rollout of all key initiatives. Translate brand strategy into actionable operational plans and field-facing support tools, driving alignment between business goals and location-level execution. Franchise Relations & Network Development
Build and maintain trusted, high-impact relationships with Franchise Owners, positioning yourself as a strategic partner in their success. Provide proactive, ongoing support that empowers Franchise Owners to meet operational standards, maximize performance, and grow within the brand. Act as the voice of the franchise community within HQ, advocating for their needs and incorporating field insights into strategic decisions. Develop and lead a best-in-class communication strategy that delivers timely, transparent, and actionable guidance to Franchise Owners, General Managers, and internal stakeholders. Own the creation and management of all field-facing operational communications, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment with brand voice and strategy. Ensure effective information flow across departments and between HQ and Franchise Owners to drive execution and minimize gaps. Operational Execution & Onboarding
Oversee the onboarding process for new Franchise Owners, ensuring a structured, brand-aligned, and supportive transition into the franchise network. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop execution plans for new products, promotions, systems, and processes—ensuring all initiatives are launch-ready, tested, and supported. Lead the testing, evaluation, and phased rollout of operational initiatives, including piloting in corporate boutiques. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Training, Marketing, Creative, Supply Chain, IT, and Field Operations to ensure cohesive planning, messaging, and execution of initiatives across departments. Lead cross-functional project teams, aligning timelines, resources, and communications for efficient and effective implementation. Ensure operational updates are reflected in training content, digital tools, and support materials. Create and maintain the Operations Manuals as needed for respective brands, ensuring content is current, comprehensive, and easy to navigate. Establish feedback loops with Franchise Owners and location teams to gather insights, identify opportunities, and iterate on operational strategy. Promote the sharing of best practices across the network to elevate performance and guest experience. Qualifications and Requirements:
5+ years of leadership experience, preferably within a growth-oriented, service-based franchise brand. Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Proven success in leading cross-functional initiatives and managing complex projects across multiple teams. Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into execution. Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Strong business acumen with a broad understanding of operations, training, communications, and brand experience. Travel required for site tours, boutique openings, and in-field support.
Benefits + Compensation:
Pay Range: $130,000 - $150,000 annual salary. Opportunities for performance-based bonuses. Benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, Life/AD&D, 401K with company match, paid time off, and holidays.
