A mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral health challenges, and homelessness, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Fund Development and Marketing. This leadership role is crucial in driving fundraising initiatives, building donor relationships, and enhancing the organization's visibility. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and relationship-builder with a proven track record in nonprofit fundraising and marketing.
Salary Range:
$75,000 - $85,000 / year DOE
Director of Fund Development and Marketing Responsibilities: Lead and implement fund development strategies to increase funding from individuals, corporations, foundations, and other donors Develop and execute annual marketing and fundraising plans in collaboration with the CEO and Board of Directors Oversee and manage major and planned giving, donor relations, and stewardship programs Direct and supervise the Fund Development team Enhance and oversee donor engagement programs, improving existing processes and strategies Manage fundraising events, donor mailing lists, and budget reports related to fundraising efforts Drive endowment growth Represent the organization at chamber meetings, donor events, and other networking opportunities Oversee strategic communications, including social media, newsletters, donor reports, and press releases Serve as an active member of the Fund Development Committee, contributing to long-term growth strategies Director of Fund Development and Marketing Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of nonprofit fundraising experience Expertise in annual giving, major gifts, corporate and foundation solicitation, and donor stewardship Strong understanding of fund development best practices, theories, and techniques 5+ years of leadership experience, managing fundraising and marketing teams Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Nonprofit Administration, Marketing, or Sales Certified Fund-Raising Executive is a plus Must have strong community ties Valid driver's license and insurance required Benefits:
