Aroma360 is continuously raising the bar for healthy scenting solutions in the industry!Job SummaryThis position is responsible for the design and development of visual merchandising for all retail stores in alignment with brand strategic goals; support for in-store events, promotional displays; and new store construction.MANAGE THE DESIGN & SUPPORT DEVELOPMENT OF MERCHANDISINGParticipate in strategy meetings for seasonal, new product development and sale updatesProvide and source creative solutions for displays unitsCreate and manage floor plans and support the design development for all updates including open sell fixtures, tester units and custom merchandising displayDesign retailer specific animations & in store eventsSupport in development of various budgets and in problem solving to ensure budget targets are met.Provide support for retailer presentations, internal meetings, corporate, etc.Essential DutiesAttend all key meetings regarding product updates and strategic planning.Work with cross functional teams to ensure accuracy of informationManage any vendor design directionSupport any open sell display unit development & execution for all updatesDevelop strategic product placement on open sell display unit launches and/or floor plansWork with Sales team to initiate new open sell display units, assortments and advise on adds and deletes.Partner with Marketing and Director of Retail to plan updates and oversee the production of display vendors.Communicate design intent, colors, materials and finishes with vendors.Approve Color match samples and materialsProvide prompt guidance and feedback to vendors to assure production does not get delayedReview and route engineering drawings and prototypes for approval.Review and route instruction sheetsInitiate creative briefs as required.Partner with creative director and graphic designers to enhance visual presentation.Support open sell merchandising issues with sales field team.Develop one-off display units to distort key merchandising programs.Maintain and update the units as required.Prepare presentation renderings for retailer meetings.Update merchandising live deck seasonallySelf-motivated to stay on top of industry trends/newness in retail and luxury experience.Visit local stores to check updates and executionAttention to detail, ability to execute flawlessly, strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.Ability to effectively convey ideas through 2D drawings and 3D renderings.Evaluate job information to ensure completeness, design intent, and compliance with local codes and obtain all required clarifications from the design teamEnsure that quality projects are completed on time & within budget.Monitor Project expenses regularly adjusting as necessary to avoid budget overruns.Manage and maintain relationships with subcontractors and with ownership.Plan, document, execute & manage projects through all phases including close-out.Responsible for the complete closeout of projects from the beginning of the projectEnsure production is properly completed by maintaining ongoing contact with production personnel and clientsWork directly with client/architect and design team to resolve problems.Ensure that all necessary permits and licenses are acquired before project commencement.Maintain ongoing contact with sales staff and clients to receive feedback regarding all aspects of workflow such as shipment dates, special needs, product updates, feasible improvements, and problems.Apply knowledge of technology and capabilities of the company's physical plan to best meet company's needsRun multiple projects simultaneouslyReview and coordinate shop drawings, submittals, and other activities that allow the various elements of work to correctly fit togetherManage the change order process with timely and transparent information to subcontractors, property management, etc. Maintain an up-to-date log and implement appropriate processes.Conduct post-project evaluations to determine what went well and areas for improvement.QualificationsMin 5 years' visual merchandising experience with luxury retail or related luxury industryHighly driven, energetic, flexibility and team spirited.Strong presentation skills and able to clearly present ideas to cross functional teamsAbility to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.An eye for detail and accuracy along with superior communication and organizational skillsAble to multi-task and thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environmentCompensation and Benefits$80k+Medical, Dental, Vision, 401kPaid time offPaid holidaysEmployee product discountCreative, modern, luxury officeCompany-wide recognitionAmazing growth environment and fun cultureOur MissionThe foundation of Aroma360 is built on two primary principles - to provide a healthy scenting solution for homes and businesses, and to educate people about the incredible benefits of Aromachology.
