Bachelor's degree in music or music education Strong vocal performance skills with ability to teach vocal technique Strong conducting skills Prior experience of directing a vocal ensemble will be considered as a substitute for a music degree. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Piano skills related to vocal studio and choral instruction Experience with theater production Experience with liturgical music Ability to manage and maintain library of music and uniforms Knowledge of best practices, strong instructional strategies, and effective pedagogical techniques is essential Works well in a team-teaching environment Develops and administers a balance of traditional and alternative assessments Maintains the classroom environment, encouraging discussion and student engagement Provides support for our students both in the classroom and outside class time COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $44,500 to $70,000 annually and is commensurate with education and experience. This position is eligible for full-time benefits including personal/sick leave benefits. This position qualifies for a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, employee assistance program, a tuition remission program, professional development incentives, a 403b matching program, and life insurance.
