Senior Communications Specialist – Content Creator – Hybrid in Nashville TN

Job Summary:
The Senior Communications Specialist plans, writes, edits, and develops communication materials for organizational uses independently. Attends leadership meetings and creates content to be shared across various platforms within the organization.
Preferred Experience:
- 5+ years of content creation, generating written, visual, audio, or video content for audiences
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Possesses a high level of knowledge and proficiency in using current digital technologies and tools
- Strong communication skills
- Microsoft Office experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as communications liaison and responsible for raising awareness of programs and initiatives to internal and external audiences.
- Develops and manages a marketing and/or communications strategy for departments and areas in conjunction with department leadership.
- Coordinates the development, implementation and maintenance of print and online content and provides technical direction in carrying out marketing plans.
- Serves as a project manager for strategic communication projects and campaigns.

- Communication (Advanced): Clearly, effectively and respectfully communicates to employees or customers.
- Networking (Intermediate): Build relationships through industry contacts, professional organizations and individuals.
- Customer Service (Advanced): Demonstrates a high level of customer sensitivity and insight into customer business issues.
- Documentation & Writing Skills (Advanced): Demonstrates expertise in applying patient relations documentation in challenging situations.
Position Qualifications:
- Work Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
