Maintenance Engineer/Live Audio Engineer - Full Time

Our Maintenance Engineers/Live Audio Engineers will focus on installing audio, rigging, and lighting equipment. They will also perform general maintenance, operation, and functional checks.
Responsibilities:
- Removal and installation of Audio/Rigging/Lighting equipment, assemblies, and components utilizing hand tools, power tools, and technical documents.
- Performing preventive maintenance inspections to ensure venues open safely and on time, following scheduled job plans and checklists.
- Operational and functional checks of audio, lighting, electrical, and rigging systems to verify proper operation and safety.
- Troubleshooting equipment faults in audio, lighting, rigging, and electrical systems, including reading ground plans and schematics, and calculating weight and electrical loads.
Basic Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Availability to work night shifts, including Sundays, holidays, and any days off, across all shifts (day, swing, and graveyard).
Technical Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
- Experience operating Yamaha & Digico mixing consoles.
- Ability to perform both permanent installations and temporary setups, with a solid understanding of audio networking, signal flow, rigging, and electrical systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic networking knowledge.
- Dante and QSYS certifications.
- Proficiency with QLAB software.
Additional Information:
Shifts are typically at night, requiring flexibility in scheduling. Compensation in California is $35.36 per hour. Benefits may include medical, financial, and other perks, details of which can be found at Disney Benefits.
