Littler The Instructional Design Specialist is responsible for developing eLearning solutions by collaborating with stakeholders and using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Articulate 360. Also manages course assets, testing plans, and LMS administration. Please submit a portfolio of your work when applying to this job. This is a hybrid position resident in Kansas City, MO. Responsibilities Responsible for gathering and converting content information from existing sources into appropriate eLearning solutions Work with key stakeholders, subject matter experts, and the Director of eLearning to identify learning outcomes and design online coursework or curricula to satisfy those outcomes Use Adobe Creative suite or comparable software to create and develop basic course assets – audio recording/editing, image creation/manipulation, video editing, etc. Work with other departmental personnel to create and develop basic course assets Publish and prepare SCORM and/or xAPI packages for upload and distribution Assist with administration and curation of course catalog in a Learning Management System (LMS) Design and deploy an appropriate testing plan for newly developed eLearning courses Gather and catalog user feedback for troubleshooting and enhancements Assist with user administration, tracking, and course completion tracking in a Learning Management System (LMS) Stay appraised of relevant learning theory, industry practices, and software solutions Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Basic understanding of technical, organizational, and creative aspects of visual storytelling. Ability to solve technical problems independently or in teams. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of Littler personnel, including shareholders, designers, marketing, etc. Technical proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or comparable software for course media creation/manipulation Effective communication and project management skills Proficiency in adult learning and instructional design Demonstrated experience with Articulate 360 and other authoring tools Education And Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or related field Experience Required Minimum of 3+ years' experience in instructional design and content development About Littler Littler is the largest global employment and labor law practice in the world exclusively devoted to representing management.
