Job Summary: Dr. Natural, a fast-growing personal care company, is seeking a creative and results-driven Marketing & Community Outreach Director to lead our marketing strategies and community engagement efforts. This role will focus on growing our brand both digitally and through grassroots marketing initiatives, such as local partnerships, events, and community outreach.
You will oversee social media channels, collaborate with content teams, and manage relationships with external marketing partners to execute campaigns that align with Dr. Natural’s brand vision.
The ideal candidate is not only skilled in marketing but also has a strong creative mindset and an interest in building local community ties. This part-time role offers flexibility with a hybrid work environment, allowing you to work remotely, as well as from our NYC or NJ offices.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Community Engagement:
- Manage and grow Dr. Natural’s presence on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Develop and execute content calendars that reflect a consistent brand voice and integrate community-driven marketing efforts.
- Engage with local online communities, including mom groups and neighborhood groups, to foster brand awareness and loyalty.
Creative Direction:
- Guide external marketing agencies and content teams to ensure all branding and content align with Dr. Natural’s vision and messaging.
- Collaborate on the development of engaging visuals, videos, and written materials to resonate with target audiences and highlight community-based initiatives.
- Work with content production teams to create high-quality, community-focused materials.
- Ensure content maintains brand consistency and reflects trends relevant to our target audience.
- Identify and foster relationships with local partners, events (e.g., farmers markets), and community organizations to increase brand visibility.
Agency Coordination:
- Manage relationships with external agencies to help execute paid marketing campaigns, influencer partnerships, and other promotional activities.
- Work with local influencers, event organizers, and community leaders to support grassroots marketing initiatives.
- Monitor agency performance, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.
Campaign Execution:
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, website updates, and other digital initiatives aimed at driving traffic and engagement.
- Focus on local, community-focused marketing efforts, including event promotions, partnerships, and grassroots campaigns.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across digital and grassroots marketing channels.
- Use data insights to inform and optimize marketing strategies, ensuring campaigns are effective and on-brand.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing, community outreach, or related fields.
- Strong creative skills, with the ability to guide and collaborate with teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, content creation, and grassroots marketing strategies.
- Experience in community engagement, local events, and building brand awareness through partnerships.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate with a diverse team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
