Ecentria is looking for an experienced Social Media Specialist to help manage and oversee the social media presence for four brands under the Ecentria Enterprise Group structure. The Social Media Specialist will utilize and collaborate with functional resources across the organization, including in marketing, operations, technology, and brand teams to monitor member engagement and lead strategic implementations to support current and new membership needs. Manage social media marketing campaigns and day-to-day digital activities. Become an advocate for the organization in all social media channels.
The Social Media Specialist reports to the Director of Marketing and will also work closely with the Marketing Manager as well as other business unit stakeholders.
Responsibilities -
- Map out comprehensive social media monthly calendar plans.
- Manage and expand community and influence outreach efforts.
- Monitor and respond to community engagement with our Brands on digital platforms.
- Integrate relevant keywords and hashtags in content via social campaigns.
- Analyze metrics to enhance social strategies as needed.
- Develop topics and mission-based themes that resonate with the audience on social platforms.
- Create, curate, and manage all social content.
- Serve as lead admin on all digital assets, organizing photos, videos, and management of those assets within Canto and other cloud-based digital software.
- Share posts and content to relevant industry groups and forums.
- Work with Brand Ambassadors for content creation and distribution on social channels.
- Tag Social Media partners and influencers to engage their audiences.
- Reach out to relevant Brands and Influencers for Co-Branding and Cross-Marketing campaigns.
- Manage social media content, ensuring multimedia assets are of high quality and align with brand image.
- Ensure audience engagement is a top priority and comments and inquiries are addressed in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report on performance through the development and refinement of KPIs.
- A successful Social Media Specialist is detail-oriented, execution-minded, driven, and takes ownership of the performance of the social media platforms.
Qualifications, Skills & Requirements -
- 2+ years of managing various social media platforms.
- Experience in Optics, Firearm Accessories, Shooting Sports, Hunting, Outdoors, or other related markets is a major plus.
- Ability to incorporate Brand Voice and Values in the content creation process for social media platforms.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize numerous projects and tasks to complete them under time constraints while remaining accurate.
- Flexible with changing priorities.
- Positive, can-do attitude to teammates or customers and ability to handle interruptions.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 and web databases.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with different audiences.
- Proficient in social media platforms and analytic tools; must stay current on different social media tools.
- Proactive with solid follow-through and attention to detail, demonstrating flexibility to adjust when requested.
- Understanding of how social media is consumed across various platforms and ability to incorporate that knowledge into EEG social media strategies.
- Ability to foster a team-oriented environment across multiple departments.
- Professional presentation and effective communication skills to develop relationships with a wide range of individuals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Understanding of brand/growth/performance marketing campaigns is a plus.
- Ability to travel domestically (travel not to exceed 20% of time).
- Other ad-hoc projects as required.

Compensation-
- Salaried position with an anticipated annual base salary range of $50-60k.
- The annual base range considers various factors in making compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business needs.
