ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Handle calls for service; intake of media and emergency callsComplete daily reporting; incident report input and approvalNotification elevation, upon approval; mass notification/EverbridgeConduct travel security reviewsRed Tag/Hot Works reportingEnsure timely and effective response to incidents, alarms, notifications, calls, and other activities related to the Security Operations CenterReceive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from employees, outside vendors, law enforcement, and the security field forceProcess and evaluate information received from all available sources, and respond with the appropriate communication and dispatch proceduresCoordinate with Security Operations Center staff to provide necessary documentation in support of uniformed guard force activityBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Must pass a skills-based assessment called “Criticall”, which is administered after successful completion of the interview process.Must possess a high school diploma or equivalentLicensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employmentType and Length of Specific Experience Required:Demonstrated analytic and critical thinking skills and ability to prepare reportsAbility to use logic and reasoning to reach conclusions and approaches to problem solvingDemonstrated high level of competency with advanced computer systemsAbility to communicate effectively with IT and Security Systems professionalsDemonstrated ability to operate radio, telephone equipment and/or console monitorsAbility to adapt in a dynamic work environment while possibly working under pressureKnowledge and Skills Required:Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to prioritize workload based on urgencyEffective oral and written communicationPlanning and organizingProblem solvingActive listeningAssess and evaluate situations effectivelySynthesize facts, concepts, principlesIdentify critical issues quickly and accuratelyCompile, sort, and interpret dataResearch, investigate, compile informationMediate conflict with tact, diplomacyWrite informatively, clearly, and accuratelyAttention to detailOTHER RELATED ATTRIBUTES THAT WOULD ENHANCE HIRING CONSIDERATION:Associate degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Communications, or related fieldVerifiable and successful security experienceProfessional training and/or education in customer service, dispatch operations, or security and/or emergency servicesDocumented experience and competency in Security Software SystemsExperience in a modern 911 Call Center, Central Station Alarm Monitoring, or Dispatch OperationPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT:Environment: Office; minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures is expectedMajor activity: Working on PC and using telephone/radio while sittingPhysical efforts to carry out job duties: Limited, to include some standing, bending, and limited stretching and reachingMust be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by lawIf you want a real career opportunity where you’re part of a dynamic supportive team that’s dedicated to your success, check us out.
