Responsibilities
Drive product experience strategy, interaction design, creative direction, and craftsmanship for a v1 productDrive cross-team collaborations among all disciplines from early product stages to implementationUnderstand the behaviors, motivations, and needs of our customers to develop relevant and impactful experiencesContribute to strategic product planning via experience roadmapsPropose creative solutions to complex user experience journeys, drawing on your ability to map end-to-end experiencesIdentify new opportunities and generate innovative ideas to improve our processes, products, and culture, influencing design direction and research methodologiesSets, drives, and executes design’s direction for a product or set of products, influencing partners and stakeholders based on priorities that balance the customer needs and business impactLead design on highly visible products or set of design initiatives with notable risk and complexityDrives cross-organization experience to impact broader organizational at scale or enable the team to scaleEmbody our culture and valuesQualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 8+ years experience working in product or service design
OR Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field AND 6+ years experience working in product or service designOR equivalent experience (e.g., experience using design thinking to solve problems).
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years experience working in product or service designDemonstrated sense of interaction design attuned to the fundamentals of user experience, including accessibility and inclusive designProficient visual design skills with relevant portfolio examplesClear communication and presentation / storytelling skills, with the ability to energize teams and advocate for your ideasExperience designing in FigmaAn online design portfolio demonstrating related experiences
Product Design IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
