What You'll Do
As the QC Operations Supervisor - Audio, you'll be responsible for managing day-to-day audio quality control operations. You'll oversee a team of technicians, maintain standards of excellence, and ensure that every piece of audio gear leaving our warehouse is show-ready, fully functional, and aligned with LMG's reputation for reliability and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control & Equipment Management
- Supervise the inspection, testing, and verification of audio equipment to ensure operational excellence
- Oversee proper setup, teardown, cleaning, and maintenance of audio systems prior to deployment
- Troubleshoot and document technical issues, collaborating with technicians to implement timely solutions
- Develop and uphold quality control standards and processes for all inbound and outbound audio equipment
- Monitor inventory integrity and coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams for accurate movement
- Lead, train, and coach QC Audio Technicians to ensure productivity, accuracy, and technical skill growth
- Provide clear direction, delegate responsibilities, and prioritize daily tasks to meet show and shipping deadlines
- Collaborate with management to assess staffing needs and performance, and identify development opportunities
- Foster a positive and high-performance work environment rooted in teamwork and accountability
- Track QC metrics and report on trends, anomalies, and improvements needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and logs of inspections, equipment issues, and resolutions
- Partner with the Equipment Maintenance, Inventory Control, and Technical teams to align on operational goals
- Communicate effectively across departments to ensure show readiness and client satisfaction
- 3+ years of experience in professional audio systems, QC, or AV operations
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience in a technical or warehouse setting
- Strong understanding of pro audio gear, signal flow, troubleshooting, and equipment handling
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, deadline-driven environment
- Flexible schedule and willingness to support occasional night/weekend work as needed
