This position will offer you the ability to directly apply your knowledge of materials, structural analysis, structural steel design, and reinforced concrete design. As a member of an engineering and design team, you will work on a range of industrial, power, oil and gas facilities. Project responsibilities will include creating calculations, document designs, and specifications. Additionally, you will be conducting structural analyses, which include loading conditions such as wind, seismic, blast, and pressurization. You will be responsible for guiding junior-level engineers and designers in structural engineering design efforts, including providing guidance with the coordination of detailed design phases for all aspects of structural engineering work. This position will offer you the opportunity to work in a project team environment with other engineers and designers involved in the design, modification, and analysis of new and existing power plant controls systems. You will work on interesting and challenging projects that include investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a wide variety of electrical controls engineering issues. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Leading the Mechanical Engineering design efforts for a team of junior and senior engineers and designers. Working on challenging assignments that include investigating, troubleshooting, and solving a wide variety of mechanical engineering issues. Acting as the Mechanical team lead in the coordination of detailed design phases for all aspects of mechanical engineering work. Developing integrated systems designs and performing supporting calculations for the planned work. Preparing technical specifications for mechanical engineering equipment. Preparing engineering studies. Performing independent reviews of work performed by others including calculations and drawing preparation. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement. You'll spend three days a week in the office, giving you the flexibility to work remotely for two days. As a Capital Projects Senior Cost Analyst, you will apply your technical skills to meet project team and client needs for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting project cost performance. This work will include interfacing directly with project management, client management, and site personnel for the development of budget and cost metrics for the engineering, procurement, and construction scopes of work associated with capital infrastructure projects. We offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your academic background in engineering: Working on multi-discipline engineering teams involved in nuclear power plant instrumentations and controls betterment projects. Preparing specifications for the procurement of instrumentation and controls equipment as well as engineering calculations associated with plant upgrades and modifications. Through mentoring, classroom-style technical sessions, and hands-on training. This position allows for a hybrid work schedule with a mix of work spent in office and working remote from home.
