In this role, you will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and provide crucial logistic, operational, and administrative support to ensure the successful execution of QuEra’s events and marketing initiatives. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technically driven environment, can deftly juggle multiple tasks, and communicates effectively with diverse stakeholders. Key ResponsibilitiesEvent Planning & Logistics
Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of events—from scientific conferences to industry trade shows—maintaining detailed event calendars and timelines. Prepare event materials (e.g., registration lists, name badges, agendas) and coordinate shipments of promotional items and equipment. Help ensure each event showcases QuEra’s brand, supporting positive engagement with attendees and partners. Marketing & Content Support
Monitor and analyze social media metrics to gauge effectiveness and propose improvements. Support the development of marketing materials that aligns with QuEra’s brand and messaging in quantum technology. Communication, Coordination & Teamwork
Act as a liaison among internal teams—including marketing, engineering, and G&A—to align event goals with company objectives. Serve as a point of contact for external vendors, venues, and event partners, ensuring smooth communication and coordination. Address inquiries from attendees, speakers, and stakeholders in a clear, timely manner. Maintain organized records and documentation for all event-related activities; ensure internal teams stay informed of event details and changes. On-Site Event Execution & Support
Oversee on-site logistics and provide hands-on support during events, including attendee registration and materials distribution. Troubleshoot issues as they arise, adjusting quickly to maintain professional standards. Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and quality standards. Post-Event Reporting & Documentation
Gather and organize attendee feedback and event evaluations to help measure impact and gather insights. Prepare detailed post-event reports, track attendance, expenses, and key performance metrics. Participate in debrief sessions to recommend improvements for future events. Required Qualifications
Current progress toward a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Previous experience (internship, co-op, or otherwise) in event coordination, office support, or administrative functions. Strong communication, project management, and prioritization skills. Collaborative, team-oriented approach; comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with social media management. Ability to multitask effectively and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment with rapidly evolving priorities. Additional Information
This role is on-site at QuEra’s office. Interest in emerging technologies—or a willingness to learn about quantum computing—is a plus. The co-op position may include domestic and international travel, particularly for events and conferences.
