We’re seeking a Junior Media Buyer with at least 1 year of experience in traditional media buying to support the execution and management of campaigns across broadcast, cable, radio, out-of-home (OOH), and publisher-direct channels. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and familiar with media planning platforms such as STRATA and Eleven. You’ll work closely with internal teams and vendor partners to ensure campaigns are accurately placed, paced, and reconciled.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and familiar with media planning platforms such as STRATA and Eleven. You’ll work closely with internal teams and vendor partners to ensure campaigns are accurately placed, paced, and reconciled.

Key Responsibilities:Media Planning & Buying
- Assist in the development and execution of traditional media plans across TV, radio, OOH, and print/publisher activations.
- Request and evaluate vendor proposals, negotiate rates, and confirm availabilities.
- Enter, update, and manage buys within STRATA and Eleven platforms.
- Submit insertion orders and traffic instructions; confirm creative specs and deadlines.
Campaign Management
- Track campaign performance and delivery; ensure vendors meet delivery and added-value commitments.
- Maintain pacing and flight calendars, updating internal documents and communicating with teams as needed.
- Coordinate revisions and updates across all campaign elements when changes arise.
Reporting & Reconciliation
- Gather post logs, affidavits, and delivery reports to support post-buy analyses.
- Assist in the invoice reconciliation process, confirming deliveries and resolving discrepancies.
- Keep campaign records organized for billing and auditing purposes.
Collaboration & Communication
- Liaise with internal teams (Client Services, Strategy, Ad Ops) to ensure cohesive campaign execution.
- Communicate professionally with media vendors and reps to maintain relationships and confirm campaign details.
- Participate in internal status meetings and vendor update calls.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in media buying, preferably in a traditional media role.
- Proficiency in STRATA and Eleven platforms is required.
- Working knowledge of traditional media metrics (GRPs, CPP, circulation, impressions, etc.).
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; comfort managing large sets of data and campaign documents.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field preferred.
