And as our state-of-the-art fiber network expands in WA, OR, ID and MT, so does our need for team members who can help us grow and realize our goals.This can be either a hybrid or remote role.The Digital Content Strategist will help stand-up a cross-channel workstream and use their experience in digital marketing, user experience, e-commerce and search engine optimization (SEO) to ensure we are producing digital content that efficiently and effectively speaks directly to the customer at every step of the journey.This position requires a strong communicator, a high-level thinker with a penchant for details, an enthusiastic problem-solver and an epic brainstormer. You’ll help keep us on the right track through our digital transformation by turning qualitative and quantitative data into effective content strategies and creative content. Working directly with CX, e-comm sales, marketing and analytics, this position requires hands-on experience with business request validation, requirements gathering, data analysis, solutioning and recommendation, project prioritization, content writing, measurement and tracking of digital metrics.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Use content audits, industry info, keyword research, SEO knowledge, competitive analysis, audience journeys, site goals and KPI’s to develop content strategies that help improve the customer experience, sales conversion, and general site effectiveness.Define data needs and collaborate with web analyst, CX director, BI and IT to ensure needs are met.Use analysis and sound judgement to define content use cases within customer journeys and make quick decisions in ambiguous situations.Align qualitative and quantitative customer data and ‘product’ roadmaps to keep pace with the industry/customer vocabulary and technological accuracy to improve the customer experience and optimize customer and prospect journeys.Effectively prioritize competing projects and drive content projects from planning through post-launch measurement.Copywrite exceptional and strategic content.Evangelize internal content writing standards that reflect best practices, define content needs and provide content briefs/direction to the team writer and designer.Provide strategic framework and work with content publishing team to drive SEO updates.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Bachelor’s degree.3+ years of experience in a hands-on web authoring role producing content for the web preferably with an e-commerce site.Advanced understanding of keyword research, search intent and other on-page and off-page SEO concepts.Familiarity with storyboarding, user journey documentation, generative ideation.Exceptional customer research and analysis skills.Comfortable speaking to executives about content strategy, performance, and results.Excellent copywriting skills, including grammar and editing.Excellent attention to detail, project management and organizational skills to effectively prioritize.Strong project management skills with proven ability to manage and prioritize competing timelines.Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and implement feedback across projects.Experience working with highly motivated sales, marketing and CX teams.Experience with the following preferred: SEO tools, reading and understanding web analytics data (specifically Adobe), Google terminology, and general understanding of CMS’s (Sitecore a plus) and web authoring code languages.Tech, Telecom or ISP experience a plus.Work Authorization:Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US for any employer.
