Sales and Marketing Analyst
plays an important role supporting the organization by accessing and interpreting reports from our data warehouse, while also initiating proactive, data-driven solutions based on analysis for organizational improvement.Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Hybrid (ability to work remotely a few days each week once trained)
What You'll Do:
- Act as a subject matter expert of the data fields within our internal data warehouse and provide guidance and support to other team members when planning reports. Catalog Analysis – Submit Names, Square Inch Analysis, Product Analysis, and P&L Analysis.
- Prepare and automate reports with high attention to data accuracy; Some of the reports include marketing ROI tracking, sales-to-goal tracking, monthly bonus-based compensation, and incentive tracking. Product Analysis – aid in the reporting and measurement of the effectiveness of product performance.
- Cross-functionally partner with the marketing and operations team to keep pricing current, maintain gross-margins and make recommendations on item-level pricing for future price increases.
- Support sales and marketing with targeted customer lists; setting up campaign/offer tracking, identifying trends in promotional data to optimize future campaigns and performing special ad-hoc analysis for a greater understanding of specific business questions.
- Aid in the design of corporate data structures to allow for better reporting
Skills and Experience:
- B.S. or B.A. in Accounting, Finance, Marketing or Business highly Preferred
- Experience in a similar role is preferred
- Strong Excel Skills
- Cognos knowledge a plus
