Assistant Editor - Unannounced Disney Junior Series (Disney Television Animation)
About The Role and Team The Assistant Editor is responsible for technical and organizational editorial work from pre-production through post production. The role involves maintaining an efficient editorial pipeline and assisting editors. What You Will Do Maintain Avid project and keep files organized. Manage and process storyboards using Flix, and import layout, animation, and lighting shots. Import, log, and prepare dialogue recordings for editors, including scratch dialogue, production recording sessions, and ADR. Output movie files for various purposes, including turnovers for sound, digital intermediate, and music departments. Organize sound effects and music. Assist editors with Avid builds for screenings and QC of outputs. Publish to production, managing EDLs and change notes. Provide timely and accurate information to production. Assist in retake sessions as needed. Upload screeners onto PIX. Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 2 years experience in animation editorial. High proficiency in Avid Media Composer. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Understanding of episodic television pipeline and workflows. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under tight schedules. Strong team player with good interpersonal skills. Experience with After Effects, Photoshop, ProTools is a plus. The pay rate for this role in Glendale, California is $51.35 per hour.
