Conduct user interviews to gather feedback and inform design decisionsUser Design:
Design and implement intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applicationsEmbrace human-centered design principles to develop comprehensive user research plans, interview protocols and question guidesWireframing and Prototyping:
Translate user stories and business requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and user flowsCreate high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes using industry-standard toolsCross-functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify user needs and translate them into design solutionsUsability Testing:
Conduct user research and usability testing to refine design conceptsAccessibility and Compliance:
Ensure all designs meet U.S. Web Design Standards and are 508-accessibility compliantDocumentation:
Develop and maintain design documentation, including style guides and user flowsContinuous Learning:
Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in UX/UI design and web standardsQualifications and Skills:Bachelor's degree in design, Computer Science, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your workExperience in supporting agile development projects desirableStrong working experience with graphic design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Sketch, etc.Proven experience in developing user research plans and conducting user interviewsProficiency in graphic design, with an eye for visual composition and attention to detailStrong coding skills, with experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with front-end frameworksExperience participating in user design workshops or workgroupsIn-depth knowledge of U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) and 508 accessibility requirementsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsERG offers competitive salaries and excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, life insurance, long-term disability, educational benefits, FSAs, a generous 401k plan, profit sharing, an EAP, 11-20 paid vacation days per year, 10 paid holidays per year, 56 hours or more of sick leave (based on the state you work in) per year (pro-rated for part-time) and more.
