Are you a creative thinker with a love for visual storytelling, strong writing chops, and an eye for what’s trending online? Do you dream in Reels, TikToks, and clever subject lines? If so, we want you to join our team as the Content Coordinator at Farmgirl Flowers, a direct-to-consumer floral e-commerce brand that’s redefining how we connect through flowers.
About the Role
As a Content Coordinator, you will help bring our brand to life across social media, email, blogs, and SMS. This role is all about creating scroll-stopping, joy-inducing, Farmgirl-relevant content. We’re looking for someone with a knack for witty comebacks who can turn everyday moments into relatable stories. You’ll work closely with our creative team and Director of Marketing to brainstorm, plan, and execute high-performing content that grows our community, boosts engagement, and supports our campaigns. You’ll also collaborate cross-functionally with just about every department to find and tell the most interesting stories about what makes Farmgirl, well… Farmgirl. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves to create, test, refine, and repeat.
What You’ll Do:
Brainstorm and develop content ideas for social media, email, blog, and SMS that reflect the Farmgirl brand and voice.
Create authentic, relatable copy for various platforms, from Instagram captions to email headers to long-form blog content.
Help schedule and publish content across all relevant platforms using social or email scheduling tools, and engage with our community through our owned channels.
Coordinate with internal teams (Customer Experience, Ops, Product, etc.) to mine great stories and updates to share with our community.
Assist with light reporting and content performance recaps to help us learn and optimize what we create.
Stay on top of pop culture, internet trends, and what's working on other brands’ feeds to keep our content fresh and relevant.
What You Bring:
Bold creativity and curiosity with a genuine love for brands that do things differently.
Strong writing skills with a sharp, brand-aware voice. Comfortable writing in a way that feels natural and human for different tones and channels.
A visual thinker with a knack for pairing design and messaging.
Good organizational skills and enough attention to detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Self-starter energy with a collaborative mindset. You love working with other teams and across departments.
Previous experience creating and managing content for social media, email campaigns, or blogs is a plus, but not required.
If you have a portfolio or informal samples that showcase your creativity and ability to write clear and engaging content, send them our way! They can be anything - from witty text chains, social posts, crappy first drafts of a screenplay you wrote during covid, really anything that shows us your ability to connect through written or visual content.
