Position Summary:
Quality Roots is quickly growing in the Michigan cannabis industry and seeks to hire an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to help promote our unique brands, products, store locations and our cannabis lifestyle through various forms of digital marketing strategies.
The Digital Marketing Manager will undertake the responsibility of assisting the Marketing department with channels such as: Email, SMS, Push, E-commerce, Paid, Social, and more. With oversight from the Chief Marketing Officer and other corporate level colleagues, the Digital Marketing Manager will support retail sales via holistic lifecycle campaigns designed to get new customers in the store and keep existing customers coming back. CRM tools like Klaviyo will be used to build out segmented lists and pushed to our digital marketing channels. Automated campaigns and customer flows will be a large part of this role.
At a high level, the Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing the digital strategy at Quality Roots.
Qualifications:
The Digital Marketing Manager must be organized and professional with the ability to work in tandem with the Marketing, Design, and other teams to establish and complete department goals. The ideal candidate will have experience managing CRM databases in a B2C environment, be familiar with e-commerce best practices, and know how to create complete customer lifecycle journeys through digital messaging.
Job Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and execute email, SMS, and Wallet / Push Notification marketing strategies and campaigns that align with business objectives and target audience segments
Serve as a key digital leader, executing on our eCommerce, loyalty, and digital channels
Lead the strategy & execution of our retention channels - Email, SMS, and Wallet Push
Define consumer segments and targets, build automated messaging flows
Partner with our 3rd party vendors (ie. Klaviyo, Flowhub, agencies) to manage digital experiences
Assist in media buying and implementation of all paid digital channels including Meta, DOOH, PPC, OTT, CTV, and more.
Performs other marketing functions and duties as requested by the marketing and c-suite teams
Skills:
Experience with Wordpress and e-commerce platforms
Experience with cannabis specific software such as Flowhub, Dutchie, etc
Experience with CRM and messaging software such as Klaviyo
And understanding of Google Workspace suite
Strong organizational skills and time management skills
Project management software experience such as Monday.com
Understanding of the cannabis industry and trends
Understanding of customer lifecycles and journeys
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Requirements :
Cannabis retail experience, minimum of 1 year preferred
Full-time availability (40-45 hours per week) Monday through Friday, some weekends as needed
Must be 21+ years old
Can lift up to 20lbs, bends, stand, sit, and stoop for extended periods of time
Ability to showcase previous work with digital marketing projects, customer lifecycles, etc.
Compensation:
Salary $48,000-65,000/yr (negotiable based on experience)
