We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect with strong experience in Generative AI and Credit Card/Payments domain. Hands-on expertise using GitHub Copilot to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. The ideal candidate will have a deep background in software architecture and development, with a passion for leveraging emerging AI technologies to transform engineering workflows and drive innovation. This role involves leading the design and development of cutting-edge applications, integrating AI capabilities to enhance productivity, scalability, and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure enterprise-grade applications using Java and modern software development stacks.
- Define architectural patterns and technology standards across application layers, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
- Lead end-to-end architecture for solutions incorporating Generative AI models and tools.
2. Generative AI Integration & Enablement
- Utilize GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted coding tools to streamline development and promote AI-driven engineering excellence.
- Guide teams on effective Copilot usage, setting best practices for AI-assisted development, code quality, and documentation.
- Explore and prototype AI models to automate or augment development, testing, and deployment workflows.
3. Collaboration with AI & Data Teams
- Work closely with Data and AI Engineers to integrate intelligent algorithms into software solutions.
- Drive use cases involving AI/ML pipelines , predictive analytics, and intelligent automation in enterprise applications.
4. Microservices & API Engineering
- Architect and implement microservices-based architectures using RESTful APIs, ensuring modularity, maintainability, and service orchestration.
- Oversee API lifecycle management, including design, security, versioning, and performance monitoring.
5. Performance, Security & Compliance
- Establish and enforce security best practices, code quality standards, and compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Continuously monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
6. Code Reviews & Mentorship
- Provide technical guidance , conduct peer code reviews , and mentor junior developers to maintain high development standards.
- Promote DevSecOps and CI/CD best practices within development teams.
7. Innovation & R&D
- Stay up to date with Generative AI , LLMs (Large Language Models), and emerging trends in software architecture.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and design patterns to accelerate innovation and productivity.
8. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Managers , Designers , and Business Stakeholders to define technical requirements, architecture roadmaps, and delivery timelines.
- Translate business needs into effective, scalable, and future-ready technical solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise software development , with 3+ years in an architecture or technical leadership role.
- Enterprise Architect with experience in DDD (Domain Driven Design), Gen AI and Credit Card/Payments Domain
- Proficient in Java , Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Demonstrated experience with GitHub Copilot , OpenAI APIs, or similar Generative AI tools.
- Hands-on experience designing scalable REST APIs and distributed systems.
- Solid understanding of DevOps , CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong foundation in software security principles , performance tuning, and architectural best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with additional programming languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
- Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and AI operations.
- Knowledge of domain-specific AI use cases (e.g., banking, healthcare, manufacturing).
- Certifications in architecture (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
