Summary of Job Description
The positions within the Graphics III are responsible working with customer to understand concepts and provide guidance on graphic designs. Designs artwork and graphics. The employee may work directly with customers to address requests/questions and change orders. They must maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Essential Functions
Communicate verbally with co-workers to keep a safe working environment
Follow written and verbal instructions to complete tasks
Works directly with internal and external customers to understand concepts and provides guidance on designs
May set up, operate, and maintain various forms of graphics equipment and tools, such as printing and measurement
Partners with marketing and sales
Orders special parts and inventory
May perform specialized or expert application work
Check and review check lists, work orders, and schedules
Monitors the inventory of equipment, parts, materials, and related items and notifies appropriate personnel of completes paperwork as required
Work required hours and have an excellent attendance record
Work overtime as needed
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent education
Six or more years of experience with Graphics Design or comparable experience
Preferred Qualifications to complete Essential Functions
Associate degree in computer Aided Graphic Design or other advanced Graphic training
Working knowledge/Proficiency using Gerber Omega and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photo Shop)
General understanding of Graphic printing/output/production
Prior Graphic application experience is a plus (Vinyl or reflective material)
Previous experiencing using Cut Master, ONYX RIP Software
Previous experience in department 25

Perform all assigned tasks
Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills
Recognize and react to abnormal operating conditions
Use and wear personal protective equipment as indicated by the task or environment
Designing artwork
Utilizing computer graphics
Provides specialized or advanced customer service on graphics and design concepts
Hear safety alarms and other co-workers
Understands and applies graphics principles and practices, may train new team members
Understands and applies sealing and related painting principles and practices, may train new team members
Preparing complex materials, graphics, and pieces for application
Working with several administrative aspects of the graphic production process
Read tape measure, safety manuals, work orders, and blueprints effectively
Follow instructions from supervisors and other co-workers
Understand and identify safety issues
Maintain balance when walking and standing on potential slippery work floor
Maintain balance when climbing on a portable step, ladders, and trucks
Tolerate constant standing while performing tasks along with occasional awkward positions to complete the tasks
Have good hand eye coordination
Use both hands for tool operation and application of graphics
