Groove Jones is seeking a talented and motivated Entry-Level Audio Engineer to join our innovative team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in audio engineering, with a particular emphasis on Pro Tools proficiency.
Job Description
We’re looking for a reliable and punctual audio engineer with a strong work ethic to contribute to our cutting-edge projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with spatial audio, composition, and sound design in an innovative and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and manipulation of audio content using Pro Tools
- Contribute to spatial audio projects, including work with Apple Vision Pro
- Participate in composition and Foley sound design tasks
- Operate and maintain analog audio equipment
- Support the implementation of audio in games using Wwise
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Pro Tools (top priority)
- Strong interest or experience in spatial audio
- Basic understanding of composition techniques
- Familiarity with Foley sound design principles
- Experience with analog audio equipment
- Punctuality and excellent work ethic
- Must be local to the Dallas-Fort Worth area
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Unity game engine
- Familiarity with Apple Vision Pro spatial audio
- Knowledge of Wwise audio middleware
- Background in game audio or interactive media
