Overview
Design effective and attractive marketing materials for the Division of Student Affairs and its departments upon request and consultation with supervisor.Design and oversee the publishing of formal reports and presentations.Design ads for inclusion in The Miami Hurricane and First Impression.Create templates and other branded material that can be utilized by the Division and departments.Ensure correct and consistent use of University of Miami brand across the Division of Student Affairs.Serve as a consultant for graphic design requests and brand identity for other units within the Division.Maintain and update visual identity across the Division.Collaborate with divisional partners to ensure efficiency and quality of high-level service areas.Supervise graphic design student employees to ensure projects are on task and maintain a high level of professionalism.Design brochures, invitations, websites, and social media content.Track progress and completion of projects using project management software.Maintain clean, organized, and complete files.Assist in maintaining and updating the Student Affairs website and sub-sites as needed.Keep up with trends across various key audiences.Foster a culture of belonging through student programming, health and wellness initiatives, campus housing, and mental health resources.Fulfill tasks as directed by Director of Communications and Marketing, and Assistant Vice President and University Ombudsperson.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing or related field preferred.WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with graphic design and creation of marketing materials including brochures and websites.Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.One year of related experience.Digital and print asset creation.Photography and videography experience is a plus.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES (KSA):
