Director, HR Communications
The Role Are you passionate about creating compelling stories and delivering engaging content that informs and inspires associates? As Director of HR Communications, youll have the opportunity to build strong relationships, grow, and deliver impact by working closely with HR leaders to develop and implement strategic communications campaigns supporting various HR programs and initiatives. You will serve as a voice in educating and equipping associates to maximize Fidelitys benefits programs. You will contribute to the 'One HR' communications strategy across HR functions, supporting talent and compensation programs, and interim projects as assigned. You will work within the Enterprise HR Communications team and collaborate daily with teams including Enterprise Content, Regional Communications, Creative Solutions, and the Fidelity Newsroom. The Expertise and Skills You Bring (Qualifications) Bachelors degree required, with 10+ years in internal/corporate communications; external communications experience is a plus. Exceptional writer, editor, and storyteller capable of simplifying complex messages and fostering connections. Experience developing and executing internal communications strategies and campaigns for benefits promotion, including health, retirement, giving programs, etc. Proficiency in creating engaging content across various formats and channels such as email, video, presentations, FAQs, intranet, newsletters, Viva Engage, etc. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, provide strategic counsel, navigate complex stakeholder models, and adapt strategies based on feedback. Strong leadership, facilitation, decision-making, and advocacy skills. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic environment, managing timelines and content with attention to detail. Ability to ensure communications are aligned with brand, tone, values, and are inclusive and accessible. Experience partnering with Analytics teams to analyze engagement data and improve communication effectiveness. This team is part of Fidelitys Corporate Affairs, which includes Communications, Government Relations, Public Policy, Community Affairs, Social Impact, and Diversity & Inclusion.
