Overview
We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our office! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Our Graphic Designers work independently, partnering with other Designers and Marketing professionals to understand and translate the client’s vision and design a variety of deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Develop graphic covers, templates, layouts, and supporting graphics for marketing pursuits.
- Create presentations, aerial map exhibits, and multimedia graphics.
- Create tailored print and digital brochures as well as conference/event graphics.
- Design digital campaigns for external recognition/pursuits.
- Thrive as part of a large, creative, and specialized marketing team.
- Partner with engineers, project managers, and technical staff.
- Serve as a brand advocate for Kimley-Horn and the client’s visual guidelines.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of corporate and/or agency experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or similar.
- Proficiency in Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office Suite (Kimley-Horn is a PC-based company).
- Ability to use InDesign software for layout of complex documents.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive, collaborative, solution-seeking attitude, and a high sense of personal responsibility.
- Desire to learn new skills, manage tasks and teams, and participate in process improvement.
- Flexibility to periodically work outside normal business hours as needed.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle simultaneous, varied assignments while providing consistent quality and accuracy.
- Willingness to travel in support of remote projects and teams.
