Electronic Access Control and Video Surveillance Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and talented EAC Technician to join our thriving company. The technician will work closely with the Account Managers and Service Coordinators to install, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Electronic Access Control and Video Surveillance equipment. The ideal candidate is personable, knowledgeable, a self-starter, and capable of making sound decisions that benefit the customer.

Responsibilities Include

• Installation of Access Control and CCTV systems (preferred knowledge of Genetec, Milestone, Lenel S2, but not limited to)
• Project management
• Maintenance and submission of accurate paperwork and documentation
• Customer communication throughout the job
• Installing conduit, coring, or trenching
• Installing and pulling cable and wire
• Mounting panels, field devices, computers, power supplies
• Programming, setup, and testing systems
• Testing and inspections

Position Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of field installation experience in security, including CCTV and Access Control
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to providing excellent service
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to pass a background check
• Clean driving record
