This role requires a sharp editorial eye, a firm grasp of investment language, and the ability to simplify complex financial ideas into clear, audience-friendly messaging. Working closely with the editorial team, designers, marketing managers, investment writers, and other internal teams, the role will help ensure our content is accurate, engaging, brand-consistent, and compliant.
What You Will Do
- Copyedit and proofread a wide variety of marketing, client-facing, and internal content to ensure clarity, consistency, grammar, and adherence to MFS' voice and brand positioning.
- Write and refine short-form copy for digital and print use, including headlines, subheads, email subject lines, banner ads, social media posts, and video scripts.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and marketers to craft compelling copy that aligns with MFS' business objectives, brand, and style standards.
- Ensure all content meets regulatory and compliance standards in collaboration with legal and compliance teams.
- Maintain and help evolve the firm's editorial style guide and tone of voice.
- Review and edit investment content to align with both brand and industry standards without compromising technical accuracy.
- Prioritize and manage multiple deliverables on tight timelines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Communicate all edits and comments in a timely and effective manner.
- Help train and educate members of the editorial team and other internal partners on style guidelines and editorial standards.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all MFS product lines, business channel communications needs, and major legal and compliance guidelines.

- Experience in asset or wealth management, financial publishing, or institutional investment communications preferred.
- Excellent command of grammar, syntax, punctuation, and AP style.
- Expert editing, proofreading, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage a high volume of projects simultaneously.
- Strong portfolio of short-form content and evidence of editorial rigor in a regulated industry.
