Job Description
WXII 12/WCWG (NBC & The Triad CW), a Hearst-owned station in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a creative Promotion Writer/Producer to join our creative services team. This individual will be responsible for writing, producing, and editing original marketing content across all media platforms, including local news, network shows, syndicated programs, and community campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Produce, write, and edit engaging promotional content for various platforms.
- Collaborate with teams to develop strategies tailored to our brand and audience.
- Ensure promotional materials meet high standards of quality and effectiveness.
- Manage multiple projects within deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
- Strong video production and editing skills.
- Knowledge of local news marketing and audience engagement.
- Attention to detail and good design sense.
- Ability to work collaboratively and creatively.
- Bachelor’s Degree or some college preferred; military training or experience considered.
- Experience in television writing/production preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite required.
- Drone certification and videography skills are a plus.
