Position Overview The Vice President is a key leadership role in our innovative PR agency. This senior management position requires a visionary with 10+ years of experience in team growth and client satisfaction. Responsibilities include business development, operational leadership, mentoring, and strategic guidance. The role is pivotal in serving as a mentor, manager, and example for account teams, focusing on client management, staff development, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic communications plans to enhance brand identity.
Create marketing/public relations strategies to build relationships with media and influencers.
Identify organizational challenges and emerging issues.
Collaborate with leadership to recognize communication opportunities and implement strategies.
Act as a spokesperson and lead media interactions.
Oversee daily communications activities, including budgeting and staffing.
Recruit, manage, and mentor the communications team.
Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Manage staff performance, set objectives, and conduct evaluations.
Participate in networking, seminars, and conferences for professional growth and business development.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field.
At least 10 years in a senior management role, in-house or agency.
Proven ability to build media relationships and secure high-impact placements.
Extensive writing and editing experience across multiple media.
Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns.
Leadership in strategic communications, media relations, and marketing programs.
Innovative use of new media technologies.
Strong leadership, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to measure ROI of communications activities.
