POSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to support the marketing strategies of both the Hotel and its Food & Beverage outlets. This role involves a mix of creativity, organization, and strategic thinking.
OVERVIEW OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:• Assist the Director of Sales + Marketing with managing and completing tasks related to Marketing, Public Relations, social media and various online channels.• Participate in Weekly and Monthly calls with both in-house departments and external agencies in collaboration with Director of Sales + Marketing.• Maintain property’s Packages, Promotions and Programming calendar including reporting campaign/activation overall performance and potential future opportunities.• Effectively coordinate and communicate incoming VIP and Media stays related to internal hotel departments. This may include confirming room reservations, ordering and delivering amenities, following up on special needs/requests, and greeting individuals upon arrival.• Communicate details and updates of hotel happenings and promotions to agency partners in addition to providing partners with supporting assets and messaging as requested.• Review monthly social media calendar for content accuracy and provide information, feedback and assets with the goal of increasing property awareness and improving overall social presence.• Support with the scheduling, coordination and execution of property photo and video shoots as needed.• Monitor and draft professional responses to property reviews left on third-party channels.• Draft monthly recaps of property initiatives, activations, promotions and campaign performance for presentations.
Preferred Level of Education: High School Degree
QUALITIES OF CANDIDATE:• Collaborative and create positive working relationships with all departments, particularly food & beverage and of course, the sales & marketing and operations team• Meticulous with the ability to manage multiple projects from inception through execution.• Self-starter with the ability to think creatively to solve problems and deliver solutions.• Usage expertise in use of the following systems-Canva Pro, Adobe Pro, Google Drive products, MailChimp.• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written• Enthusiastic, passionate, able to motivate others.• Current, legal, and unrestricted ability to work in the United States• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working with branding, social media and/or digital marketing, preferably in a hotel/restaurant environment.
