Job Title: BAS Graphic Designer
Reports to: Engineering Supervisor
Job Status: Exempt
Job Purpose
Design and create Building Automation System (BAS) Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) by:
- Using various graphic editing software and BAS system frontend software.
- Creating equipment system graphic representations from equipment schematics.
- Populating graphical displays in a logical and organized manner from programming points lists.
- Creating building and floorplan images from mechanical plans.
- Collaborating with engineering design team.
Entry Level Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Graphics Design, Computer Aided Drafting, or Mechanical Engineering Technology. GPA to be requested.
- Experience with photo editing software such as Paintshop Pro or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Positive influence and ability to work in a team setting.
- Detail-oriented.
Advanced Qualifications
- Experience with graphic editing software such as Adobe Illustrator or equivalent.
- Experience interpreting mechanical construction plans / viewing CAD files.
- Experience with building automation system software such as Tridium, Alerton, Delta, Distech, Siemens, Metasys, Schneider, DGLux, Ignition, etc.
- Experience with 3D modeling software such as Autodesk 3DS Max, Autodesk Maya, Cinema 4D, Blender, or equivalent.
