What you'll do:
Support campaign planning for titles and authors, including digital audits of author platforms; entering marketing plans into systems; scheduling seasonal meetings; and communicating plans to other departments Help develop wide scale, integrated marketing campaigns with consumer and industry outreach Analyze campaigns and track progress, and provide insight on how results may inform future marketing strategies Work closely with Editorial, Publicity, Sales, Ad/Promo, and directly with Authors In conjunction with Creative Services, develop Sell-in and Marketing materials Liase with Audience Development team Assist team members in creating and trafficking materials Work with department interns, including schedules and training What you'll bring:
Passion for books across genres, including commercial fiction, psychological suspense, YA, literary fiction, nonfictionincluding diet, health, wellness and spiritualityand romance Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong communication skills, written and verbal, showcasing an ability to speak with authors, other departments, and customers succinctly and with authority and tact Working knowledge of social media platforms, including creating social media timelines for publisher and select author accounts Basic ability to track budgets Willingness to learn new systems, programs, and procedures as job dictates A general awareness of pop culture and trends Ideal Experience :
This is an entry-level position. Previous industry experience (bookseller, publishing intern) is welcome but not required. College degree or two years book industry experience.
This role will have an annual salary of $50,000.
