JOB TITLE: Campus Content Specialist-Technology
DUTY DAYS: 215
PAY GRADE: T09-T12
SALARY SCHEDULE: Click for Salary Schedule
Primary Purpose
Lead high school collaborative content teams in the effective implementation of the standards based curriculum, instruction, and assessment system.
Coach teachers in order to improve instruction and learning outcomes.
Qualifications
Education/Certification
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate 7-12
- Master's degree in Curriculum or Administration, preferred
- Knowledge of best practices in curriculum and instruction
- Ability to manage multiple projects, simultaneously
- Demonstrated leadership on a campus or central office setting
- 3 years successful teaching experience
- Department head, peer facilitator, instructional coach, assistant principal or central office, preferred
- Curriculum development, preferred
- Coach teachers at the campus level to improve instructional practice related to Blended and/or Personalized learning leading to increases in student achievement
- Model the use of tech applications for instructional purposes.
- Engage with teachers during instruction and in PLC and GLT meetings to assist with new technology implementation and troubleshoot issues related to technology.
- Support campus teacher teams and campus instructional leaders in implementation of Blended & Personalized Learning through instructional coaching, GLT’s, classroom visits, and debriefing sessions
- Collaborate with Core CCSs to provide district-level curriculum, assessment and professional development support.
- Develop and deliver regular, relevant professional learning sessions for campus administrators and teachers regarding blending &/or personalized learning and effective instructional and assessment practices
- Stay current with Blended & Personalized Learning trends
- Partner with campus administration to distribute & collect devices from students and teachers.
- Partner with technology liaison, to develop strategies for hardware and technical support that fit the campus needs.
- Coordinate the use of technology across content areas.
