Base pay range
$75.00/hr - $90.00/hr
Location: Hybrid – 2105 Water Ridge Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28217
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled UX Strategist to lead interaction design strategy for large-scale program-level initiatives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define user-centric strategies for digital platforms (web, mobile, applications) while balancing business, marketing, and investor needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Design intuitive, engaging, and elegant user experiences by leading program-level initiatives. Define complex problems through research, wireframing, visual design, and information architecture.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with enterprise-wide teams and senior leadership to align UX strategy with business goals. Oversee project deliverables, schedules, and workflows.
- User-Centered Design: Apply expertise in user behavior, brand alignment, and interaction design principles to solve challenges.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use qualitative/quantitative analysis and client feedback to refine UX solutions.
- Technical Integration: Leverage knowledge of modern technologies (web/mobile development, programming languages) to create feasible, efficient solutions.
- Presentation & Advocacy: Expertly communicate and “sell” design strategies to stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of UX design/strategy experience (portfolio required).
- Proven ability to lead large-scale initiatives and collaborate with cross-divisional teams.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and prototyping.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Background in financial services or related industries.
- Familiarity with UX tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and front-end technologies.
