YOUR DAY TO DAY:
Participate in the research, design, and development of products including the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of electronic, and/or mechanical devices, components, or systems. Typically works in close collaboration with mentors and colleagues.
YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
- Participate in the design and development of products including electronic and/or mechanical devices, components, or systems.
- Assist in the creation of product documentation and test methods.
- Set up and perform design verification tests for new products.
- Document Test Results
- Troubleshoot new devices.
- Develops understanding of appropriate technology and products to enhance design capabilities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:
- Strong analytical skills
- Creative thinking capability
- Learn and build new skill-sets necessary for design tasks
- Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) or engineering software
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Accurate and strong attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office and popular software
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
Salary Range: $18.00 - $23.00
