Job Description
The Influencer Marketing Manager will work across key accounts within the agency, delivering valuable strategic insight and counsel to the agency team and our clients. They must be experienced in conceptualizing and leading integrated influencer marketing campaigns and able to strategize with colleagues in earned media and experiential specialties to maximize campaign effectiveness across all touch points. The candidate will lead existing senior client relationships, bring innovative thinking, and industry best practices to the table, while seeking business growth opportunities.
They will support day-to-day operations and must have a proven track record of generating results for brands through influencer marketing and earned media activations. The Manager should have a good understanding of industry technologies, social platforms, and awareness of the cultural landscape.
The candidate should also be comfortable managing in a small, matrixed environment of internal cross-functional peers and external client partners. A successful candidate will have experience immersing into a client’s business, identifying growth opportunities, measuring KPIs, and articulating the impact on business results.
Qualifications
This person must have at least 4-5 years of experience in influencer marketing, with at least 3 years leading key client accounts, managing junior team members, and overseeing budgets.
Key Responsibilities and Competencies
- Build strong relationships with clients as a trusted counselor
- Develop and lead execution of influencer engagement programs to meet client goals
- Oversee campaign tactics, including influencer briefs and content reviews, ensuring KPIs are met while fostering junior talent
- Identify opportunities for capability improvements and propose solutions, thinking like a small business owner
- Plan and present ideas aligned with ROX pillars: earned media, experiential activations, and influencer-generated content across paid, owned, and earned channels
- Maintain deep knowledge of clients’ business needs and industry trends, applying a strategic brand-building perspective
- Leverage existing relationships and develop new ones with influencers, personalities, and agency partners
- Manage financial aspects of campaigns, including budgeting, negotiations, SOWs, vendor contracts, and recaps
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field
Additional Information
Salary: $95K — $100K per year, depending on experience
