Citadel Outlets is searching for a digitally driven marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, retail-focused environment. The Digital Marketing Manager will lead the center's digital marketing strategy, including paid advertising campaigns, SEO, website management, email marketing, and performance analytics. This role will also oversee the social media strategy and influencer marketing efforts, managed by the Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Digital Marketing Manager plays a critical role on the Citadel Outlets management team, leading the center's digital marketing strategy to increase awareness, engagement, traffic, and sales. This position is responsible for planning and executing performance-driven campaigns across Google, Meta, OTT/CTV, and email marketing, while managing website updates, overseeing SEO/SMO, and providing strategic oversight of social media and influencer initiatives.
- Plan and manage paid media campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, Youtube, and OTT/CTV platforms.
- Execute SEO & SEM strategies to drive organic traffic and improve digital discoverability.
- Manage website content, updates, layout optimization, and tenant/event listings.
- Develop and execute segmented email marketing campaigns.
- Track and report performance analytics (CTR, CPC, ROAS, VCR, engagement, etc.) using GA4, SproutSocial, Meta Insights and other reporting tools.
- Maintain and monitor UTM parameter and Google Tag Manager for accurate tracking and attribution.
- Respond to customer reviews across platforms such as Yelp, Google, and TripAdvisor to uphold brand reputation.
- Provide graphic design support through Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and Canva for digital campaigns, email creative, signage, and event material.
- Capture photos and videos onsite for marketing use, supporting visual content needs.
- Oversee the strategic direction of social media to ensure alignment with digital marketing goals and brand messaging.
- Supervise and mentor the Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator, providing guidance on content strategy, analytics, and platform best practices.
- Provide strategic oversight on influencer marketing efforts in collaboration with the Social Media Coordinator.
- Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager to align digital strategy with center-wide marketing initiatives.
- Support onsite events and marketing activations, including some nights/weekends.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging tools, and retail digital marketing practices.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications or a related field).
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on digital marketing experience in retail, hospitality or consuming facing industries.
- Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and GA4.
- Strong knowledge of performance marketing, paid social, SEO/SMO, email and analytics.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, strategy and analytics.
- Proficient in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Canva) and content capture.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and communication Skills.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing and influencer marketing.
