About The JobThe ideal candidate will have experience in a broad range of direct marketing channels and strategies, with a deep understanding of email/SMS marketing and automation. The Marketing Director will develop and execute multichannel marketing campaigns that are relevant to each of our audience segments, B2B and B2C, across a variety of channels including but not limited to email, SMS, direct mail, social media, landing pages, site content, blogs, digital advertising, case studies, press releases, tradeshows, in-person events and more. A successful candidate will consistently adapt marketing programs based on insights from a/b tests, campaign results, and other performance analytics.What You'll Do (including but not limited to)ExpectationsDrive: Lead strategy, develop, test, and manage overall marketing strategies and campaigns for all audiences and medias. Drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growthIdentify: Successful at recognizing opportunity and activating the right channels and strategies to influence growth in key metricsDevelop: Foster a mindset of learning, testing, analyzing and optimizingEmail, SMS, and AutomationCreate and maintain email calendars, inclusive of dates for creative briefs, creative review and proof approvals. Define email program and promotional/creative strategies to include segmentation, personalization and trigger-based campaigns for both B2B and B2C audiencesDevelop test-and-learn process for improving/evolving email campaigns to maximize engagement and conversion. Champion development of email capabilities leveraging new solutions from platform and third-party tech vendors. Demonstrate technical aptitude for third party providers such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Movable Ink, SMS providers, CRM tools, etc.Maintain and adapt governance around coding, quality assurance, list management/hygiene, import/export of data segments by partnering with vendors and internal partners in marketing and IT to target messages accordinglyAnalyze and report KPIs to assess performance of campaigns and make strategic decisions based on those findings. Share those metrics in a digestible manner with all program stakeholders across the department and present quarterly updates on the state of the programSales SupportDevelop, manage and maximize campaigns to assist the Sales team in outreach, tradeshows and eventsDevelop, manage and optimize strategies and materials for new client onboardings to support awareness, adoption and utilizationProduce compelling written content for blogs, newsletters, press releases, and other marketing materialsManage all aspects of social media marketing, including content creation, community engagement, and advertising campaigns across various platformsCreate, maintain and manage collateral hub for authorized Brokers to access and utilize to promote the program to their networksCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer service, to align marketing efforts with business objectives
Required Skills/Experience:Minimum 5+ years of experience in integrated direct marketing campaigns including strong marketing automation backgroundExperience working in Email/SMS
Marketing Platforms like Hubspot, Klaviyo, Iterable, Salesforce, etc.Comprehensive understanding of performance analytics, with the ability to extract key learnings and apply to future initiativesSolid organizational and time management abilities, along with the ability to act independentlyProficient in Google Sheets or Microsoft ExcelFlexibility to travel as neededExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCompensation & Benefits :$70,000 - $90,000 based on experiencePTOHealth, vision, and dental insurance
