Mr. Arnell takes a consumer-centric, design-led approach to helping customers innovate and grow their businesses. We believe great design is the product of intelligence, passion, and personal commitment. This is demonstrated by a portfolio that spans over 40 years across a variety of industries, from startups to Fortune 500 clients. We excel at brand innovation, brand creation, new product development, consumer experience, and spatial design, touching all aspects of brand creation. We create new companies and brands, expand and extend existing brands, and design the products, services, spaces, communications, and experiences that bring them to life.
ABOUT THE JOB: We are seeking a Concept Designer to join our multidisciplinary design and brand consultancy. This is not a traditional design role—it is an opportunity to work at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and innovation. You will be part of a team that redefines what design can achieve, working on projects that span brand creation, product design, spatial design, and consumer experiences. The ideal candidate is not only a skilled designer but also a versatile problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative setting. If you are passionate about pushing the boundaries of design and eager to take on diverse challenges, this role is for you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO: Drive concept development across product, brand, and design, transforming ideas into compelling, market-ready solutions. Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, strategists, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive design vision and product execution. Conduct market research, user research, and trend analysis to inform and validate design decisions. Create physical and digital prototypes to test design concepts and iterate based on feedback. Craft compelling visual narratives through presentations, sketches, and 3D renders. Stay agile in a fast-paced environment, adapting to evolving project scopes. Apply user-centered design principles across a variety of disciplines to enhance functionality, aesthetics, and user experience. Utilize proficiency in CAD and Adobe Creative Suite, with a willingness to learn and leverage additional software tools as project needs arise. Support client presentations, project coordination, and cross-disciplinary initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required: 4-6 years of professional design experience, with a proven track record of bringing concepts to market. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Product Design, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks & Rhino preferred) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign required). Expertise in photo-realistic rendering (KeyShot preferred). Strong understanding of aesthetics, form, proportions, and CMF (Color, Material, Finish). Excellent visual communication and concepting skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and cross-functional teams. Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to take on tasks outside traditional design disciplines.
Preferred: Experience with manufacturing processes, materials, and production techniques. Portfolio showcasing commercial furniture, consumer electronics, or other innovative product designs. Familiarity with 3D printing and rapid prototyping. Exposure to adjacent disciplines such as graphic design, UI/UX, or spatial design. Experience with additional software tools (e.g., Rhino, Blender, Figma) for cross-disciplinary projects. Strong project management skills, including timeline coordination and team collaboration.
