Responsibilities of the Role
Lead the digital department personnel in executing digital marketing strategies and programs with a focus on performance improvement and ROI.
Bring strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills to continue propelling team success.
Work together with Brand Team to build, execute and manage digital advertising lead generation campaigns with third party vendors.
Leverage your deep understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem to drive integrated campaign performance.
Direct the ongoing improvement and maintenance of thirteen customer facing websites and a proprietary content management system with internal team and outside providers. Includes website design, UX, technical and content improvements.
Keep up on cutting-edge PPC best practices and manage agency execution of technical and creative campaign improvements.
Manage the development, A/B testing and ongoing fine tuning of landing pages.
Stay on top of leading SEO best practices and manage the implementation of technical and content improvements.
Work with SEO Analyst and SEO Copywriter to develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and visibility.
Manage keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO audits.
Monitor and analyze website traffic and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Oversee email marketing campaigns including drip campaigns and associated metrics including using Emfluence.
Pull marketing metrics from multiple sources, analyze, draw insights, create reports present key findings and oversee others that do the same.
Provide local digital marketing consultation to franchisees as needed.
Maintain open lines of communication with all internal departments and promptly address customer (franchisee) issues.
Knowledge, skills and abilities of a successful candidate
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
10+ years of experience
Bachelor’s degree
B2B background important
Strong team-building and collaborative skills
Excellent written and presentation skills
Deep SEO experience including strong knowledge of web analytic tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Google Ads and others
Ad agency and brand management experience preferred
Background in franchising or other multi-location environment
Deep understanding of social media, digital marketing, Google Ads, Display, Re-targeting, SEO, email marketing and how they work together to drive brand awareness and lead generation
Customer service mentality
Photoshop, HTML and marketing automation experience helpful
Excellent Excel, Access, Word and Power Point capabilities
Experience with Monday.com and Teams helpful
Able to multi-task
Independent thinker
Self-motivated, positive team player with excellent people skills
