Adult Programming Coordinator (Part-time) | Orland Park Public Library

- Researches, plans, hosts, and evaluates programs (lectures, concerts, crafts) for adult library patrons in tandem with the library's strategic plan and department goals.
- Liaises with presenters and vendors on contracts, forms, and invoices.
- Writes program descriptions, prepares program materials, and requests printed promotional materials.
- Assists with setting up and breaking down program spaces, including AV and other equipment.
- Curates program-related book displays.
Requirements
- MLS/MLIS preferred or Bachelor's degree with experience related to job responsibilities.
- 2 years of library experience.
- Experience designing and executing programs and/or small and large events preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Salary: $27.50--$28.40 based on skills and experience.
