The Director of Retail Visual Merchandising plays a pivotal role in bringing Mejuri's vision to life within our stores. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Brand, Growth, Merchandising, Store Design, Inventory Management, and Retail Operations, this role ensures consistent and compelling visual merchandising experiences across all locations. As a strategic leader, you will shape the retail roadmap and drive excellence in product presentation, in-store marketing, and overall customer experience.
With Mejuri's ambitious growth plans, expanding to 40 stores by the end of the year, you will be at the forefront of translating the brand direction into tangible in-store experiences. You will lead the execution of visual merchandising strategies, ensuring that each store reflects the brand's unique identity while maintaining consistency. You will be instrumental in creating captivating displays, optimizing fixture placement, and enhancing the overall shopping journey for Mejuri's customers.
What you'll do:
Visual Merchandising Strategy
In-store adaptation of brand directiveUtilizing business acumen to layout stores, fixture productivity and work with stores/merchants to deliver sell through of key itemsBuild tools for scalable executionEstablish standards for VM that include, marketing, product placement, visual display standards, lighting etcTeach merchandising fundamentals to stores virtually and through workshopsInspect weekly execution of store VM standards, facilities and other fundamentals
Weekly Business Actions
Category performance analysisWork with merchandising and marketing teams on a weekly basisWork with Field Teams on a weekly basisPerform store visits on a regular basis to understand unit performanceAction VM for slow turning product. What you bring to the table:
10+ years of proven experience in Retail Visual Merchandising with detailed knowledge of fashion & retailExcellent communication & presentation skills with a passion for innovation, creativity, and the ability to deliver with a standard of excellenceA hands-on problem solver with a willingness to work in the details and find opportunities to change process to drive efficienciesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to change and new processesAbility to lead & driver large scale projects across a large number of locations simultaneouslyAbility to work collaboratively across varied cross functional teamsProven track record in building best in class teams & processes in a high growth environmentAbility to travel often & internationallyA resourceful self-starter with a "can-do" attitude and a "building" mindsetCollaborative, emotionally intelligent, positiveBenefits at Mejuri:

Salary:
Looking for the perfect next opportunity is a big decision. Mejuri recognizes the importance of pay transparency when it comes to salary ranges as it empowers individuals through the hiring process and supports them in making an informed decision. This role currently has a base pay range of $140,000-$180,000 per year based on a candidate's experience and qualifications.
Please note that these benefits apply to full-time employees.
