Overview
Create, develop, plan, write, and edit English-language operational, instructional, maintenance, and test procedures. As needed, prepare the files for translation
Research and incorporate available engineering information such as drawings, design reports, equipment, and test specifications into publications
Interview product development teams, marketing teams, engineers, and other technical personnel to provide accurate and comprehensive information appropriate for the targeted audience
Use ticket-tracking and document-authoring tools and technology to access product information and push publication deliverables through the release cycle
Track project assignments and keep management informed of progress
Required Skills & Experience Education: enrolled in an accredited and related degree program with completion of at least two years of college-level coursework (preference for Technical Communications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related)
Proficiency with basic computer knowledge and Microsoft Office tools
Professional workplace communication skills, including ability to communicate with stakeholders globally
Excellent, clear, clean, accessible writing; attention to detail and technical accuracy
A positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challenges
PreferredSkills & Experience Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders both internally and externally
Experience with and interest in AI
Knowledge of MadCap Flare
Knowledge of a second language, other international experience or experience with translation tools
