The Denveroffice of SmithGroupis looking for aInterior Designerto join our science and technology.
Working with us, you will: Manage projects, lead job production and construction administration efforts. Prepare, coordinate and complete construction document packages. Consult with manufacturers, research and evaluate FF&E materials and products. Serve as a resource on interior design issues to others in the office, as well as assist in the design work of others to ensure integrated and cohesive design. Lead and participate in presentations and visioning sessions to develop programs for clients. Be responsible for meeting project deadlines and budget constraints. Mentor junior staff.
An ideal candidate has: A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent. Minimum 4 years of related experienceand Science & Techprojects of varying types and complexity. LEED AP preferred. Architectural or Interior Design registration preferred. Proficientin Revitand AutoCAD with 3-D modeling capabilities. Demonstrated ability to perform work involving independent judgment and to act as project coordinator and leader. The ability to produce and coordinate a complete set of construction documents for permitting and bidding on projects.
SmithGroup's competitive compensation and benefit package is designed to meet the needs of a diverse staff. The anticipated salary range for this position is $63,000 to $76,000 annually, at the time of posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the anticipated salary range for this position. Additionally, an employee in this position is eligible for a performance-based bonus on an annual basis.
