Junior Graphic Designer
who is excited to use their luxe style and design skills to support the brand, marketing, and product teams, creating premium digital content, print collateral, and more for Nuna's retail customers and direct consumers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESDesign beautiful and premium pixel-perfect graphics for omni-channel marketing, brand, and sales needs; including organic social media, digital advertising, website landing pages, catalogues, print marketing, and on-product collateral.Follow templates to produce graphics for US and global regions.Adapt graphics to global regions by applying provided translations.Size and format image files for various platforms and uses.Create thumbnails and overlay designs for videos.Apply animations and motion to designs and layouts.Occasionally assist in light photography editing (product and lifestyle) as needed.Assist Technical Designer with instruction manual and tag creation as needed.Design ambitiously, with a command of typography, composition, messaging hierarchy, and balance.Ensure all designs accurately reflect product information.Collaborate with other designers to give and receive thoughtful feedback.Ensure visual brand standards are met across all projects.Cultivate visual excellence and contribute to a positive team culture.Keep up to date on best practices and advancements in tools and resources.Stay current with design and art trends, inside and outside of the retail world and used platforms.Successfully organize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment with superior attention to detail.This position description is intended to provide a summary of the major duties, tasks and responsibilities of this position and shall not be considered an exhaustive listing of all work requirements.REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONSExperience & EducationOne (1+) years of experience in graphic designDegree/Certification in Graphic Design or equivalent professional experience.Portfolio that represents a proven eye for successful, premium digital and print graphic design, and demonstrates strong understanding of layout, typography, and artistic styles.Experience working in a multi-region/global consumer industry preferred.TechnologyAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesignComfortable working in Microsoft OfficeBasic understanding of HTML preferredSkills & CompetenciesGenuinely creative, overflowing with ideasHighly organized and attentive to details.Naturally inclined to self-motivate, take initiative, and work efficiently.Able to balance and appropriately prioritize multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.Welcomes team collaboration and has a healthy appetite for feedback.Passionate about learning and staying on the cusp of what's next in art and design.Working understanding of how data, strategy, content, and design intersect.Comprehensive understanding of photo and graphic file types and formats.Developed empathy and curiosity for understanding people, behaviors, attitudes, needs, and motivations.Exceptional listing skills; hungry to absorb a range of data, brand information, ideas, objectives and creative direction in order to produce beautiful design solutions.Exceptional communication skills; adept at communicating creative concepts to cross-departmental audiences.Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability be tactful with diverse teams, situations, and ideas.OtherEmployees who are in a Non-Exempt position must accurately complete, obtain approval from their manager and timely submit a timecard in the form provided by the Company as it coincides with the Company's bi-weekly payroll schedule.Ability to work extended hours as business needs warrant; may include nights and/or weekends.Up to 5% travel possible as business needs warrant.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
